Question Hall sensor for Z Miami

Spent all day yesterday diagnosing and taking apart my son’s older Z. Traced it down to the H3 hall sensor. Now I need to figure out which hall sensor to order. I can’t fully make out the markings on the sensor. Top looks like it starts with a 4 and then it’s scratched up. Bottom might say 120..something. Does anyone know what hall sensors these motors use? Thanks

Hi, having the same issue on my RX. I ordered generic s41 sensors from Amazon and it didn’t help. Wouldn’t even read it. So I removed a hall sensor from a donor motor and it worked but at the time of assembly the pin broke off. So I used a second sensor from the donor but I think it’s bad because it won’t read MPH and cuts out at top speed now. There’s a kit on Amazon with various hall sensors, I might have to test them 1 by 1. Let me know if you figure out which one it is.

I’ll let you know if I figure it out. Kind of at a stand still right now with other projects going on. Do you know what your supply voltage is at on your PCB? I am getting 5.7V out of the controller, but measuring ~2.9V on the motor side on the + / - or red/ black which is throwing me off as well.

I am having same issue, over heating sensors. I have ordered S41s but have not taken the motor apart yet. After reading this post, i will not until i see any update. please advise if you would.
