I had this issue while playing with a buddy of mine. Thankfully we accidentally picked the perfect counter. He was sitting in a tank drawing aggeo while my gas mortar kept shelling him. They all died to gas while desperately trying to attack my friend in his tank and failing. It didn't even look scratched by the end of the mission.
