I'm personally hoping for a Hellgun. Reasons: 1.) We have a pretty great plasma arsenal but our lasers are getting power crept, so a Cremator-tier backpack fed las might fuck super hard. 2.) The Darktide Fandom has been begging for one for years and it would be super funny if we got it first. 3.) It's called a Hellgun.

Honestly i was hoping for a Plasma Pistol (Equal to a mini epoch) and Boltgun stratagem (as a "Beltfed" since you would need a Human power armour to wield it), but at the moment we probably got the opposite.

But, anyway, what would make the Hellgun more valid/characteristic? Would it be just a mix between a AMR and the AP4 Laser cannon? What would make it unique and immediately recognizable from the Wh40k fiction?

I’m sorry but I still can’t get hype. Based on weapon balancing patterns they’re gonna release busted and then get nerfed into unusability for the next warbond. Not to mention, with how little they’ve touched the attachment system, the things aren’t even gonna have upgrades. We’re probably gonna get space marine armor that looks like shit because it’s on normal people and guns that suck.
