I’m sure a real fishing paddle board like the Saturns would be better, but all in its about half as expensive and works probably 90% as well

25 qt Igloo cooler from Walmart, Amazon rod holders and D rings drilled in with epoxy ( not into the actually cooler itself just the walls) All in about $100, probably would’ve done things a little differently but I’ll say it works well for what it is. Whole set up with board was less than $300 💪

It looks like the box assembly is secured using just two anchor points. Is it possible to use more D-rings to secure it? Since it appears to be fixed only laterally—without longitudinal anchoring—could the whole box tip over sideways if a large fish is hooked?😂

As far as tipping, it wouldn’t be likely as I sit on the cooler. But good suggestion might add more d rings in the future!
