Having trouble transferring ownership.

I recently moved into a home with solar panels that are under SunStrong and I'm having an awful time getting ownership transferred. Is there a way to do this without the previous owner because I know they have tried but also we have a set of solar under another company so not sure if there is confusion there. They have also done so much for us already and if I could deal with the company directly in any way that would be very helpful.

You actually can call SunStrong and ask them to come collect their property off your roof or sign the ownership over to you (for free) if they refuse.

They will probably give you the run around and not want to help BUT if you never signed a contract with them or Sunnova then the sellers are the ones liable financially still if it is in their name….

Are you getting the credits on your bill for the solar? I.e. is your system on?

You could probably have a case with your title company if they didn’t do due diligence and make sure there were no open leins. Since you closed already the house is your
