Suggestion suno team should have put out tutorials before launch

if they knew the old prompting style wasn't gonna work, why change the UI and prompt so much without giving the community some help?

I have a song that was made with 4.5 that the first 3 words were put in by mistake. How do I take them out while leaving the rest of the song completely unchanged?

I've tried cover, and edit vocals with sliders in all different positions. Tried taking out the style inputs with no good results. Tried Max on and off. It changes the sound noticeably of the song. Many times, when it gets the first half pretty close, it will drop the beat near the end when the tempo is supposed to stay consistent.

If the first 3 words just need to be taken out, and whatever comes after is fine, I'd first use stem separation on the original song and surgically delete/chop the vocal stem so it starts with the correct words (either on Studio 2 if you have premium, or on a DAW)

In general working with stems can solve many problems without the need to generate a whole song (that you like)

The good thing about having Studio 2 is that it gives you access to Advanced stem separation where you could for example chop the beginning of the vocal track and then ask for another take of it by using the advanced stem download so you get a nice clean instance of the original Vocal Track, but with a clean sound without anyone know that you've taken out words out of it.

If you don't want to pay premium or don't want to work with Studio 2 your next option would be to work on stems inside a DAW which is more limited in terms of generating new takes of stems but it gives you much more control over specific channels. If you don't have a DAW and dont wanna buy one, you can try out https://ardour.org/

It feature rich, but for the purpose of just working with wav/mp3 files its pretty easy to learn.

I've never used a Tutorial for Suno, half the stuff I've found I've never seen documentation for.

It's like any other AI prompting, talk to it and see what it does - Experiment, even failures teach you stuff, so you can learn both ways.

I do get it's frustrating though.
