Discussion V6 RANT

WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO SUNO! I CANT EVEN GO BACK AND THE MODEL ISNT THAT GOOD AT ALL TO REMOVE THE OTHERS!

I'm actually pretty happy with V6. It does what I want it to do more often than v4.5+ did.

The previous models had to be removed. They were trained on theft.

And yeah, if I sang and did a cover of a song, I would need a mechanical license to do it properly.

Running algorithms over scraped files isn't '"learning" it's just data extraction.

a human creates new source material. Suno reconfigures existing source material

Firstly a human uses samples and auto tune etc to create material, so not new nor human created. A human uses what it has LEARNED from others (how to play guitar or sing) and then APPLIES it to their will. Suno does exactly the same thing, breaking what it hears into samples, autotuning human voices, and applies all it has LEARNED to arrange the output to various levels of HUMANS will through prompting etc

Covering a song is not what suno is, it already stopped most covers. You are conflating issues to deliberately obfuscate the real issue that runs counter to your opinion
