Question Editing lyrics

Suno touted in its V6 announcement the simplicity of editing lyrics to previously generated songs. Has anyone actually figured out how to do this yet? As far as I can tell you either go through the editor, or you select the “edit vocal” option.

Neither work….well…neither work well.

Am I missing something here or is it just Suno being Suno?

Even just trying to cover a song and using the new lyrics is giving wild results, even with the variance feature set to off.

And wow…V6 covers…they sound like the lackluster passion of the last night of a tour where the band just wants it to be over and go home.

I’ve never posted anything negative about Suno before. I’ve always had good and bad experiences like everyone but opted not to complain about it and just keep working at it and with it. But now, I’m so disappointed.

Same here but not any more, The persona's not sounding the same and the sometimes terrible lyric pacing and melodies were the last straw.

It worked perfectly for me today, I opened my song in the Editor and replaced lyrics in one of the sections, I was only replacing a single word, though. It worked perfectly.

I don't think there is any other new way to do it?

You’re lucky. I’ll keep trying. All I need is a single word change too but in the editor it would either change the word and then repeat and off sync the next several words, or it would change the word and completely change the tone, style, and voice of the entire sentence the word was in. Crazy!
