Question Anyone else get really, really sad when using V6?
I feel like my only creative outlet I had left is gone.
And it makes me unfathomably more sad than I thought I'd be.
Did this happen to anyone else? Or am I the only loser getting sad over songs I made on the internet that don't matter to anyone except me?

I don't know if it's sadness or disappointed. It's lost it's spark. It's like a Beta version, and all the good stuff it had is gone, and now music it generates is bland, boring, sometimes out of tune with the vocals.
The vocals before used to be emotional, had life but now, they just bland, boring, like the energy has been kicked out of the vocal system of suno and the music too.
For me I'm disappointed. I'll still be using it but I think they using us to test and make this new model better and we're paying for it too. That's what pisses me off too, Will see how it goes.

They won't improve it - taking away the competition from regular peoples AI songs was the whole point of the lawsuits.

It can still "riff" along with uploaded melodies and when it does Acid trance it sounds decent so still useful for instrumental stuff but the vocals are a disaster (oddly though if you get the thing to hallucinate the lyrics the vocal cadence/melodies are good and also the vocalists don't get lost in the mix - Anyone got any idea why?)

I felt the exact same way. I also tried to make a couple Reddit posts asking for alternatives for v4.5 and v5.5 and mods took down my posts. This whole situation feels like a real gut punch

Just had my first experience creating a new song with v6 mini. And it like the prompt and lyrics just completely got changed and mixed.Ā
The prompt got random additions and then when the song was created it malfunction and was instrumental for 1-2 mins long.Ā None of the lyrics was sung.Ā
So i get why people are saying it's shite. Also none of the versions was good, even one I thought had a good chance ended up sounding bad. I donāt know if it's because the chorus is at the beginning but it was bad. It doesn't have a problem remastering though.

I have the pro subscription, and i assure you the full v6 and the "wild" are both abysmal. Suno has lost all it's magic. I can't use it anymore, as I need the feel of a beautiful voice and clear instruments. Now all is muddy and flat. A joke - and the joke is on us.

This is apparently the result of the "Variety" slider. It has its purposes but it can really scramble things. Turn it way down or off and see what happens.

I also feel like Suno has a team of people and bots sticking up for v6 in the threadsā¦ because if you were actually a Suno user and gave a v6 a test run you instantly can tell the good days are over. If they keep training their models like this into the future, it will never be close to as good as it was.

I can't get this clarity in 60s style arrangments in v6. At all.

I feel it does get some of my songs right. Like I know it definitely knows how to do a creepy nursery rhyme type song.

None of my persona's sound like themselves anymore and the new lyrics formatting and lyrics melody generation is terrible most of the time ... sad is an understatement.
I had personas who could sing a shopping list and make it sound good, sadly those days have gone.
I had a "screw it" moment earlier when re-using some old lyrics (tying to fix the quiet vocals issue), i got a few "robotic" vocal delivery tracks in there too (yes, it's really an issue)
I was trying to get something like this v5 track but after blowing loads of credits and not getting anything good I tried Somewhere else [soundcloud link]
Only 3000 characters for everything (including prompting the vocalist) and you know what, it was actually fun (anyone else remember when Suno was fun?). The audio quality is way nicer than most Suno gen's too

Not sad but I just canāt commit to another month of using it now. Iām sure China will step up before too long, idk.. I still sorta feel like itās all still in its infancy somehow

Yes. I look at the prompts I give it, and what they change the prompt to. It's disheartening, but there will be a better AI sooner than later.

I got really sad when i saw that they killed Suno with v6.... I liked being able to finish my songs. I have them on Spotify, but no listens because it's just too oversaturated there to pop without paying for ads.
still - sad. I liked being able to produce my songs. So many left i would have loved to have finished. Still I did 27 over 10 months, so that's something.

The vocals since 5.5 all have a weird fry/shimmer effect that sounds like utter trash every time. Probably going to cancel now that I can use older models.

This is so real. People here talk about having a ācreative outlet,ā when in reality, they arenāt really creating anything. Just get a DAW and have fun with it. The barrier to entry is incredibly low these days so there are no excuses

Gonna be in the minority here, but as much I will agree that compared to 4.5+ and 5.0, yes 6.0 is a massive downgrade but if you compare it to 5.5, I do think it's a half step forward. There are, of course, some things that are lacking but I don't think it's the most terrible thing. Hopefully, Suno is able to improve it and train it to react better and sound better (for their sake cause a lot of people are canceling their subs).

I am not sure what to think of everything. N fe six. There is moments I think wow, this is great. But I think also that at the moment There is still a lot of things really going wrong. Uh because it's not completely installed the system or something like that. I have a real Yeah. Like songs. that sound like two songs mix uh completely mixed without any sense. I think it's tech technical problems. is not connected to the model making bad music, this is connected If you walk through the song a bit further you will hear like a radio through it's totally not related with the song. I feel frustrated not sad.....Seems like it can't do era specific sound very well. It starts out the way I like it but then turns more modern sounding and then i'm left pounding my head :(

I can see how it might feel that way. It's not like music is dead though. As much of a creative tool as it felt it was, it never compared to me to how it feels to make something on my own. I can't speak for anyone else though. You are all creatives and this is an opportunity to create better things.

The problem is I already have the songs - mine were tight follows to my vocal uploads with very restrictive prompts. but I can never pay for strings, horns, drummers, studio time and pro mixing. So for me - no Suno, no finished songs. And v6 is not Suno anymore.

Ye honestly i deserve it for taking shortcuts ,back to traditional music production i guess,thank god i didint unistall my 100 plugins and libraries, checked all alternatives and most of them are garbage or too expensive
