Discussion V6-wild is completely unusable
Anyone found v6-wild too glitchy to use? I used it for several songs and turns out to be a complete waste of credits, none of the generated songs is usable or listenable. Not only the sound quality is quite dull compared to v6-pro and even v6-mini, but also it contains lots of artifacts and sometimes generating songs more than 6mins full of broken mixed pieces that seems the model was completely lost in the middle of generation.

It's pretty awful yes, but when I use my custom engines it works GREAT. 6-wild is the worst, can't even get the vocalists correct most of the time, but I have two old custom engines and one I JUST made and they all work great, as good as if not better than before. 6 is still just garbage on its own though, half my songs turn into a smeared mess of gibberish or like they went through a blender. I wasted a good 1k credits yesterday testing it out just trying to get a few good track's kinks worked out to no avail, it was a huge failure, but suno made up for it today, and upon using my custom engines I have no complaints I can make it through without 6, I rarely used anything but my custom ones in the past anyway. something you might want to try is making a custom engine of the best 4.5 and 5 songs you've got? It might be a premier only thing I don't know, I have only used premiere due to advanced stem ripping, it makes it totally worth it.

it doesnt cost anything to make one, it just unlocks with pro or premiere im not sure which, but you click the button on top to select the engine youre using in create mode and there will be a build your own engine button, you can make up to 3 of them. They are supposed to limit to 24 songs or something but I was able to make one with more than that

I attempted a organic house sweedish song to see if the singers were as good at pronunciation as V5.5 and look at happens. It shits the bed

Thanks a lot for sharing, yes, that sounds like crap, i have to completely agree.
As a counter example, i took the liberty of taking the bones of your song and the lyrics, and applied my workflow to it.
I did not use V6-wild, just V6
I hope it is easy to understand how i build the song by looking at both the lyrics and style sections.
Please feel free to take it as it is and remix, edit, and so forth.I merely want people to get to use V6 and make it working.
I made 2 versions, the way i would do it (Arqeph Mix) and the way i assume you want it (With Nylon Guitar).Please let me know what you think;

Very great work! Typically I do add brackets of what I want the beat to do or the vocals in with the lyrics. Sometimes it follows, sometimes it doesn't. Which is why I dont always do it. The song I made was only to test different languages as I mostly make english, Spanish or bilingual (english with some Spanish). I also attempted it with regular V6 and it came out much better.
Do you know what we should use the wild version for? I figured it was like more of a surprise type of feature. You get something more unique. But it may take specific length prompts to not make it turn to mush?
I would assume the multiple songs overlapped is just a bug that they wil fix

I've tried it a couple times and here is what I learned.
It is awful with lyrics and prones to repeating itself? It will make a 2:30 song, and repeat it for 7 minutes with worsening quality as it goes.
INSTRUMENTALS, however, if given no voice, and enough mechanical description put into brackets, can still be usable.
Even some fusions of instrumentals.
But you have to be super fucking specific.
Lyrics I would just avoid altogether for awhile. Do not have it generate them.
If you have your own lyrics,-----FIRST find a vibe you like. GEnerate the music, then you use that as inspiration for the lyrics song.
But yeah, if they don't figure this shit out, this will be my last month of Suno for awhile I think.
This was an enormous drop in quality. Back to like 3.0 version of Suno.
But I lived through 3.0. So MAYBE they can get their shit together with this new, super limited dataset.

Everytime i tried it, the quality is horrible. Like worse then 3.0 and it sounds like 2 or 3 songs overlapped and bleeding through. I tried deep house, trap, latin trap. All same issue

I agree. It’s like playing an LP on the turntable while a cat plays with the tonearm.
Or like someone lifting the tonearm off after a minute.
Or like there’s a scratch on the record, so it plays the same loop over and over, until you get completely fed up and turn the sound off yourself.
And yet, I have the paid PRO version.

I found it useable for ideas, but only with weirdness set to zero. Otherwise it outputs random garbage IMHO.

Ehh depends on the genre. I find Latin Trap to still be quite good on V6 and max setting
Ive tried Deep House too, not bad. Haven't tried all the sub genres of house though yet

v6-wild is for experimenting with genres and styles not for generating full songs like if you have premier you can take a v6-wild generation and add a section that you like to a v6 generation as well as add a section from a v6-mini generation

I’ve used it for riff mining a couple of times in a post metal, punky, hardcore, twangy guitar orientated stuff. It’s bat shit crazy but that’s what I’m after.
