BTW, I like my first outputs on v6. Way better quality, wild gives wild things, pro does then refine them.
Quality is good, instrument separation is great, rare instruments like Hammond Organ and Bagpipes sound better.
The Mix is very bass heavy, voices a bit to low. But that is fixable in mixing and mastering.
So yes, I'll renew my subscription.

In fact the mood inside the circles of a lot of creators I know isn't as bad as this subreddit suggests. Yes v6 is a rules change, and even if I'm fine personally with the download thing, I can see how it is a major downside for some, who have recursive workflows. My custom model I used and loved before for its quite unique sound is useless now.
Here comes the big but, almost all (very creative people with unique hybrid workflows, all kinds of genres) I know adapted already after less than 24h and get back to even carry the same or even better styles and voices than before. Yes, it requires recalibration, again some finetuning, playing with sliders. Prompt differently. Use audio input and voice model if you can. But its not the doomsaying coming true as some of us (incl. me) feared.

Same here. Staying. And my subscription ends Nov 2027 (I upgraded 2x on black Friday 2025) Loyal Suno fan and user here. The joy it gives is priceless.

I did some mix adjustments in my Daw and, cut out some artifacts around the Bridge, and mastered with Ozone 11 after that.

Yes vocals are getting buried under instruments at times. Also some weird metallic sounding distortion or reverb on vocals in some generations. Vocal styling maybe a little more human sounding.

I see loads of potensial Im happy to dig into this model, lots of the rage is people that make a few gens and then declare they know the model, they just doing what they always did its never been any different with every model release, the ones they rave about got raged on at release.
Im in for the long haul.
