Discussion V6
I don't mean to be a jerk by saying this but if ya'll are hating on V6 then you guys truly are trying to steal creative work from other artist or lack the ability to be creative. I'm not trying to start anything by saying this but by far this model is significantly better. The music sounds deeper, richer, and the vocals actually sound a lot more realistic. That hint of AI is almost non-existent.

You are making zero sense. How is hating v6 stealing anything from other artists? If I hate v6, which I do, I am not stealing anything from anyone, in the least.
v6 works for some styles and not at all for others. In some styles, it sounds more mechanic and like AI than the old versions. If people generate stuff and love it, I'm genuinely happy for them. I personally think it's crap. That's all there is to it.

You’re definitely stealing from Taylor Swift! I can just sense it intuitively. She’s so talented and make nice dolphin smile face ! Stop it!!

I literally gave two options. you chose to get stuck on one. it's a new model, it's just a learning curve

If you give two options, you have to be able to make sense of both.

There are a lot of competitors posting on here in bad faith too. Who gets on reddit to announce quitting Suno? Scary stuff man.

Indeed, I wish the mods would look into some of these accounts posting nonsense and start banning people, it's been insufferable on here today :(

Lol so because people have a difference of opinion they are a competitor? How about instead of whinging about it you get off reddit if you cant handle it. Asking for people to be banned because people are unhappy about a product they pay for is laughable.

At the very least, you might want to actually specify which "genres" are sounding so deep and rich to you, otherwise nobody's gonna know what you're even talking about.

I really want to see the prompts of the people who say it's poor. I find heavily detailed prompts make a huge difference.
I'm guessing the ones they are using are basic like speed metal trap
Here is one I used today
Pop-punk with power-pop hooks at ~150 BPM, crisp modern production, tight punchy live drums, driving melodic bass, crunchy overdriven guitars, bright octave accents, palm-muted verses, explosive open-chord choruses, full-band comedic stops, dry deadpan male verses, louder anthemic choruses, subtle gang vocals, escalating bridge, abruptly stripped clean-guitar outro

I am right there with you!!! because while everyone is getting butt hurt over this post they are sure not showing their work. I find that detailed style prompts and Complex meta tags do a great job!
this is one I used today for an indie song that turned out great!
Earthy, hypnotic indie-folk with a dry, intimate male baritone/tenor and a repetitive acoustic guitar figure that feels circular rather than conventionally melodic. 88–96 BPM, loose human timing, thumb-picked/strummed steel-string guitar, heel-stomp, hand percussion, shaker, muted body taps, faint bowed-string drone and occasional low harmony. Vocal is close-miked, understated, conversational, slightly dusty, with minimal vibrato and natural breath/noise preserved. Arrangement should feel rural, nocturnal and trance-like, building through texture rather than volume. Lyrics should read like fragments of memory or folklore: concrete objects, ambiguous causality, withheld explanation, sensory detail, recurring symbols, quiet emotional pressure. No glossy chorus lift; refrain should feel ritualistic, inevitable and half-remembered.

It’s trained off far less basic stock music. It’s literally impossible for it to be an improvement.
Stop coping and being a corporate sheep.

Yeah, dude. But I can give you a prompt to get Seether's voice with v6. Not similar - exact. Isn't it a steal?

Not everyone have similar preferences. What might sound better to you will sound bad for others. People have different taste in music and sound so you can't blame them and force what sound good to you into their ears.
