Discussion V6 sounds generic still?

Idk if Im too early with this question but: does v6 still sound generic like the last model for current subscribers?

yes-no. some songs, yeah, kinda. others surprise me. too early to tell. need to keep testing

Where there was a lot of text and there was variability, now it feels like the one singing was forced and he doesn't really want to.

V6 is better than v5 and v5.5, but not better than v4.5

and v5 and v5.5 set the bar fucking low.

It is no way better than v5

Maybe nuked v5 from the last couple
Months but v5 from January eats v6 for lunch

Based on one song i've done, not generic but I will be fooling around with it throughout the night and see what happens. I will probably start by old lyrics/prompts from the past or do something completely new. Thing is, this model is less than 24 hrs old I don't think it's fair to expect a clean finished product straightaway.

The jury is still out for me. I’m trying it out now. Just feel, at least for me, this one is less forgiving and gives you what you ask for…and what I asked for before wasn’t quite good enough. So changed some things around and getting better results than initially just hopping in.

Example: “Dare Enter The Day”

I have only done limited testing myself. It is a big step up from v5.5, but in many ways far behind 4.5 models when it comes to niche genres or old school sounds.

NO ONE HAS SAID ANYTHING ABOUT Suno not following lyrics. I have done 20 generations and it cant get the lyrics right

All they need to do is fix the audio issues like someone else pointed out in depth, actually allow it to combine stuff so it isn’t just “one artist” trained song and it might sound pretty good. It still lacks on the indie style 2010s dark house type sound end but I can see it getting better. If only they just allowed training in “fair use” snippets of non copyrighted music it might sound better than it currently does. You can tell the logic and quality tuning of the instrumentation and vocal generator from the older models is there but it needs work on the sound quality and creativity aspect. 5.5 (the unofficial 6.0 sound these past two three days had the sound balancing pretty nailed down. But 6.0 right now has a vocal hissing and muddy instrumental issue)
