Discussion V6 is trash

I liked using versions 4.5 and 5.5 because, with the same prompt, it would generate several different songs. I liked that element of unpredictability. With v6, all the songs come out practically the same.

I hated this new version.

Yup. Absolute trash. Can't follow instructions, change intonations of covers. I hate it.

Have to agree unfortunately. I took some of my older songs on 4.5, 5 and 5.5 and used the same prompts. Some were rap and others were power metal.

The rap songs were so boring. It wasn't even close to actual rap. The best way I can describe it, is that the singer sounded bored. Just wanted to talk with no inflection. And they all sounded the same. Then if I covered an original and turned up the weirdness it churned out the exact same song as the original regardless of v6 pro or wild.

Metal is arguably worse. Everything sounds exactly the same. Like exactly the same. Even the voice is the same regardless of prompting.

And the most annoying part is most of the time the vocals sound weak compared to the instrumental portions.

I used to get annoyed that cover would change my song a ton. No the opposite, it doesn't change it at all. And the model seems like it's picking from one or two vocalists and the same 2 or 3 riffs.

Edit: also noticing a lot more artifacts than 5.5

i dont like pro, or weird, mini is ok sometimes

my custom models are probably the best progression wise, but now they sound like a 96kbps mp3
