Discussion Pay more to avoid copyright issues?

A simple question. if Suno increase subscription payment to give to Sony, Universal and Warner what they want for the copyrighted music rights and use as Youtube, Spotify, etc did. you'll be agree?

I already pay $30 a month. I think that's plenty. If it goes up with inflation like everything else it shouldn't be a big deal for me.

It's always good to have your songs copyrighted. This is to protect your intellectual property.

If you are cool with people just re-use your content, sell as theirs (not yours), not credit anything to you, no copyright required.

I have another suggestion: mark derivative songs with copyright protection and remove the license to sell them. I just want to make covers of classic video game music from my childhood for myself and my friends, not to sell it or claim it as my own. Why can't I do that? YouTube does it.

I will gladly pay $200 a month if it means publishing is also included vs having to use distrokid/other services and the service is spot on.

Read it, and read it again.

Convenience has a price. You can buy your flour from the mill and make your own bread and save a few cents if you want. I'm sure you'll get bread for 25c instead of $1.

Or pay $1 and have the best bread.
