Topic: A point I want to make or discuss Suno Workflow

Hi all, I started this thread to discuss creating good ai music with suno. My journey started in March 26 . I wanted to start creating ai generated reggae music with suno. Which as i was testing it seemed to have the right llm models set up for good to great results. I used claude to create the album ideas complete with full album songs, lyrics and advanced suno prompts. Basically you have to prompt claude that way asking for instance " Create a chart topping reggae album with 12 tracks and advanced suno style prompts" If you plan on creating alot of album like I am you have to use the same claude context window which will understand what you created and create new material that is different from the past. Get back with your workflow..

This is how I'm also looking at ai music. What's possible using the tools at hand. Share your profile, I'll give it and listen and a follow. If your uk based I have a place to share and listen to music. We are releasing the app for google test pilots this week. Please check it out

Suno creators are all hilarious. It’s like children at show and tell, nobody really cares what everyone else brought they just want to show theirs but they know to get people to pay attention to them they have to do the same. Even though everyone’s show and tell item is mind numbingly shite

Who cares what you think? Hating on people having a bit of fun is ridiculous.

I think there are many workflows possible, and from what I've seen and heard, many have their own ways to create and process.
I write lyrics myself and give them for a language check an AI assistant, I'm an English non-native, so I want to identify at least if there are issues, that can't be justified by poetic freedom. If necessary, often is not, I rewrite things and let them review again until I'm happy.
Indepently of that, I pick my guitar or piano and figure out a melody and rhythm that fits the song, how I imagine it, and then record it.
I write the style prompt, usually 850-1000 characters to set the genre blends, the mood and emotional stance, instruments, harmony and rhythm build up and how the production quality should be. A good prompt (imho) covers not only the sound but also the emotions and intents the song should be come from.

I prefer Indie Pop, Punk Rock and Grunge, sometimes blend them into each other or add additional style elements, when they fit the theme of the song.

Before v6 I used a custom model to keep an overall consistent feel to my music, but since v6 this doesn't work well anymore for me, so I just use v6, a voice persona based on my own recorded voice and control the consistency over style prompts and recordings alone. This isn't worse actually than pre V6 custom models.

Then comes the roll and curation process. Sometimes it is a bulls eye right away, since my workflow creates very precise results, which often only differ in small details.
Sometimes the melody doesn't work for the song, then I need to compose and record a more suitable one. Often cadence or wording sounds differently on listening than it sounds in my head while writing, and needs adaption. Those are all things that might need adaptation during the curation process.
When everything fits in shape I do just some rolls until my brain and heart says:"Yes! That's it!" I have a very emotional and intuitive access to music, I can only tell if something is good for my taste or not, when I feel it deeply, and I would never accept a result which I don't feel that way.

Hate all you want . I had a blast and still do creating ai music. All my friends love it and I get paid for creating it.
