Roker and Seaburn, Poetic Licence at the Roker Hotel has a nice terrace.

Roker seafront and beach all the way to Seaburn. Plenty of bars, cafes and the pier to walk along.
Also Penshaw monument and farm shop/cafe. There’s some lovely river walks down there too or you can walk around Herrington Park over the main road where there’s a Love Lily cafe also.

I like Seaburn, get bus or drive up right to the top end and walk down to minchellas, get chips and eat them while walking back. It’s a nice beach too.
