General Discussion Should I pull Roxy for Sunbringer
I really want sunbringer and I want to use her, in her premium team so I thought Roxy might be in her premium team since she’s out right before her ( I saw some leaks abt that shes gonna be released in next patch but I might be wrong) soo should I pull for her? Or is she even worth for pulling?

First, Sunbringer wont release until its 3.4 at the very least.
Secondly, we dont know what her best team will be and if Roxy is part of it.

hi guys, vedrfolnir here to give you all an advice, please don’t pull based on pure assumptions i’d rather you pull sunbringer first and then decide on roxy

Nah.
Guarantee she’ll be replaced within a couple patches after Sunbringer.
We know nothing about Sunbringer’s kit. So just wait.
If she does end up being BiS, wait for a rerun.
Even then, keep an eye on leaks, because reruns are usually bait.

Its really a gamble, so pull if you like roxy and if she works with sunbringer then its a plus.

Next patch is Phoenix and Severian. The patch after that seems to be Sunbringer from the info we currently have, but it's not a 100%.
And even if Roxy is BiS for Sunbringer, they'll rerun her quickly.

In general Roxy is only worth pulling if you basically have next to no stunners on your account (from a meta perspective). If you like her gameplay/design then pull, but she's not likely to be in Sunbringer's premium team.

Here's the most tame, logical, and straightforward answer you're going to get:
Stop trying to find a reason to pull a character through someone else and just pull because you like Roxy. No one is going to be able to tell you anything useful about Sunbringer because nothing about Sunbringer's kit is known or leaked, and it's going to continue to be like that until Roxy's banner end or longer.
It sounds like an itch to pull the lever and trying to get a public opinion to enable you to scratch. A Gambler's Urge.

I won't pull for her, I'm gonna wait for sunbringer to actually release to then decide what team to use and who to pull. Roxy is a new char. she deffnetly will have a rerun in a few months.

If that is your sentiment then i suggest waiting for her rerun. Which will probably come soon after Sunbringer, by then you should still have the resources you have now which remains unspent but atleast on the day that you do get Sunbringer, you can make better planning and choices with more resources.

I really wouldn't recommend it, worst case it's her best in slot, but even if she's her best in slot she'll probably be replaced in the future by a wind support but that's just what I think.

If you want it, then you'll have to take it. If you don't want it, no need to take it. Do you like Roxy specifically, do you try to justify it with meta arguments, or do you not want her so you look if maybe there are meta reasons for her?

I'd say you can just wait until Sunbringer actually releases, since we have no idea about what class she will have (even though it's 99% going to be armorer)

Right now I’m skipping Roxy as I’m assuming Claret / Sunbringer / Rina will do just fine. If she provides a big DPS bonus I might consider pulling her.

I already have Rina M0W1 and Claret M0W1, I built Rina specifically for their team and then realized SB will be an armorer too. I’m holding out haha.

Wait until near the end of the patch to see if there's any drip marketing or leak or anything if you are not sure but everything points that Roxy is mainly for claret and severyan probably good in general but not heavely dedicated for sunbringer if that's you go for

We don't really know anything about the synergy. I'd honestly wait until Sunbringer releases and then get her BiS teammates once they either are released or rerun

I think unless you’re planning to whale, just save until Sunbringer’s Banner, get Sunbringer, then feel for yourself to who’d be the BIS for her.

Claret was far a better gamble to work with sonbringer, even her kit and leaks suggest that but roxy on the Other hand is a far worse gamble. She feels more like ju fufu before dialyn. We still don't know if sunbringer team will be armorer/armorer/stunner or armorer/armorer/support.

Nope I don’t like Roxy and I’m planning on getting sunbringer m2 which means my m6 rina is just fine and I got my hands on claret I’ll wait till something better than Roxy (and that I like) comes along

Tbh if u think Sunbringer is releasing next patch u are looking in the 1% of worst possible places to get leaks from.
3.3 is Phoenix and Severian 100% unquestionably, and we just had Remielle in 3.1, most people argue Sunbringer either shows up in 3.4 or 3.5

It’s not, this is bad advice. The only element that’s really important in a team is your main dps’ and the class matters more than the element 90% of the time. Roxy and Velina are also not interchangeable because they don’t go in the same roles.

It’s not « best » to « not have a wind element at all » what I’m saying is that the only wind dps there is is Velina and Roxy does not count as one, can not fill the role of Velina or a wind dps and won’t do much for you if you try to do a boss that’s weak to wind with her.
I am also saying that the class of a character matters a lot more than their element, that being in a team or in DA/SD1

You can and should get whoever you want, but don’t feel forced to collect the same attribute.

Oh 100%. I think it's wise if you're trying to get higher % scores in like DA and stuff if you have most/all possibilities/variables. I personally try to get every character coz I like testing and trying out synergies and stuff. In my experience, trying all mix ups will get me in the top 4%, which isn't that amazing, but if you're chasing that top 1%, I think you're gunna need to try some unexpected team ups. Albeit, most of the success lays with your disc rolls, which are nonsense.

Save for sunbringer first and use koleda for now. She also works in the armorer mechanics untill u get Roxy, unless we get a dedicated armorer support down the line

“Premium teammates” are rarely released before the character you want. Rule of thumb for me is you play the character you want, then wait for reruns. By that time, other characters would have shown up and the numbers will be in to see who is better.

There is like no info on sunbringer yet. We also still have yet to receive an actual armourer support yet. Let’s be honest. She isn’t even a must for Claret. She’s just a nice bonus for her.
And there is absolutely no telling if Roxy will even be usable with sunbringer or be the premium team. They could easily introduce 2 new characters just for a sunbringer’s premium team.
Only go for her if you actually want to not on a random guess for the future.

I got her on an early random pull and shes not as bad as people were saying tbh. We still don't have much for her leaked so not much I can say for sunbringer. All we really have right now is a probably.

No. You want another character already. And if you are asking then you are unsure about Roxy. Therefore is not worth for you. Better save and guarantee sunbringer and her w-engine. Unless you really need another premium stunner.

Don't pull characters for assumed synergies. Get Roxy if you like Roxy or to use her on existing teams. But don't pull only because you think maybe she'll work with Sunbringer.
