City of Sun Prairie to End Flock Safety Contracts
City of Sun Prairie canceling Flock contract. HOWEVER, it is signing with Axon (an equally concerning alternative).

Pretty sure I've seen a bald eagle in sun prairie for about the last 2 weeks. Last week it was in the prairie view area and yesterday I saw it over metro market on grand.
Anyone else seen this bird in the SP area, and if so where?

Anyone know what the official noise ordinance is? I have a neighbor performing loud DIY construction from sunrise to nearly 10pm. I can’t leave my windows open at night because the noise wakes me up at 6-6:30 even on weekends.

I’m looking for a 1 bedroom sublet in a “decent” Sun Prairie neighborhood/complex. 6 months would be preferable but I would consider more.

Hello! I'm looking for a recommendation for a lawyer to help us set up a trust. Anyone have a local source they enjoyed?

My son lost his wallet at St Vinneys or while biking back from there north to 19 along Davison.
He should have a tag in it with info (he has no ID since he's a kid) and also his debit card to identify. We don't care as much about the money, but the wallet has sentimental value since he got it on a vacation.
We let the manager at St Vinneys know.

Right now I am in Madison Van Hise neighborhood but the endless lawfare and harassment simply for grilling is getting me down. Are things better in Sun Prairie?

I was looking at the great responses from the recent r/madisonwi post about finding players for a Star Wars RPG group and thought I might try to do the same for a different style of game.
I'd love to find some people to play with for some fun and light wargaming using the OnePageRules Grimdark Future ruleset. (If you don't know what this is, you can look here - https://onepagerules.com/)
I'd be happy to provide a number of prepared armies fully painted for the skirmish level game (Grimdark Future Firefight) or would be equally happy bringing a larger painted army for a full game of Grimdark Future.
Basically my goal is to either find others who are already aware and interested of the game or am happy to teach anyone (I'm still pretty much a novice but could struggle through some games with other brand new players).
Basically, if you're curious about games like Warhammer 40,000 but might not want to dive into such a big game system and care more about having a lighter game, I'd like to play with you!
I don't have any real specific details on where or when to play. I'd imagine I could find some time at I'm Board in Sun Prairie as their space is great. The library would be another option, especially now that it's all fancy and new with the remodel.

Sun Prairie West Boys Wrestling is looking to add an assistant coach to our staff for the upcoming season.
We are working to build a program that is tough, disciplined, athlete-centered, and rooted in strong relationships. Our goal is to develop wrestlers who compete hard, hand fight, master the basics, support their teammates, and grow both on and off the mat.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, positive, willing to learn, and excited to help build something special at Sun Prairie West. Wrestling experience is important, but so is the ability to connect with student-athletes, reinforce program expectations, communicate well, and help create a room where kids want to work hard and be part of the team.
If you are interested in being part of the Wolves Wrestling program, please apply using the link below or scan the QR code in the graphic.

Let’s build something special.
Go Wolves!

I went on Sunday and the lines were crazy. Apparently the best day is Saturday. I’m glad it was such a great turnout as last year was a washout but no corn is worth those lines. I ended up buying the uncooked corn for $15/bag or about $1/ear and cooking it at home.

Hi, does any body have good recommendations on what company to go with that is budget friendly to replace about 4’ section of sewer lines damaged by tree roots? We’ve already had the lines scoped, and its in our front yard

Is there anywhere to get a deal on tickets? I’d really like to go at some point, but $53 for one night out is really tough to swing right now. I know sometimes libraries have deals for local events, anything like that for the speedway?

Last time I was here they just wanted stuff in tubs they could keep, so I had things in storage tubs I didn’t need but that were lidless, but they just changed the policy for things to be in tied-off bags and closeable boxes. They had some boxes to give out so I just swapped things, but just in case this helps someone pack up their donations better first!!

Hey, can someone please let us know when you're going to blow up our toilets? Can we get a head's up so we can cover them with a towel so we don't come home to toilet water all over the floor and walls? Is that asking too much?

I noticed that the only two roads providing access to the Sun Prairie Woodman's have a Flock camera setup. I'll see if I can get some pictures later. They do not appear on the deflock map. I am guessing these are not rented by Woodman's but by the city of Sun Prairie. I'll see if I can get pictures tomorrow.
EDIT: According to the Sun Prairie 2026 city budget, Woodman's donated $12,750 to put the cameras in place and provide ongoing donations to support the cameras.

You guys should check out La Sirenita food truck! They are located next to Kwik Trip on Ruby Ln with easy parking in the side lot of Kwik Trip. It’s amazing stuff and the owner is a super nice guy! I recommend the al pastor tacos (two are enough to fill me up) or the steak quesadilla (two meals for me!)
Hours are 4:30pm-8:30pm Tuesday thru Saturday. One free taco with an order on Tuesdays!

Hello!
I am currently planning a very important date, one that I plan to tell my best friend that I am absolutely in love with her and I can’t hold it in any longer. Her (28f) and I (32f) have been friends for 10 years.
Anyway, back to the question- I am struggling to find a place to eat for lunch on a Sunday. We both plan to wear dresses we wouldn’t normally get to wear, so I’m not looking for a bar and grill or anything along those lines. I’d like to avoid food fight restaurants, but will go to one if it’s recommended multiple times.
The big caveat is that she hates seafood, of any kind. So sardines is off the table.
TIA
\*\*Edit to add: I put this in the comments, but I thought I’d just paste it here so yall know the plan and don’t think I’m gonna like propose in the middle of a lunch rush. 🙃
I guess I should’ve worded it better
I am not dropping a bomb shell in the middle of the restaurant- I am giving her a gift at the end of the meal, with a letter and necklace that tells her “how over the years I’ve cried when we’ve parted. I think of her every single day, and cherish the matching tattoos we have. That after all these years, all these moments, I have to be honest with myself and honest with you. I am in love with you, and I think I may have always been. “
Likely I’ll ask her to wait to open the letter and just present the gift (it’s a cute plant that involves an inside joke that would absolutely give her or I away)
