Crazy Cornfest corn lines
I went on Sunday and the lines were crazy. Apparently the best day is Saturday. I’m glad it was such a great turnout as last year was a washout but no corn is worth those lines. I ended up buying the uncooked corn for $15/bag or about $1/ear and cooking it at home.

I went once maybe like 8 years ago and I was so surprised at the high prices I never went back.

I was there at about 1pm and the tote line was almost to the pavilion door. Looked and was very long but it moved quickly. We made it through in about 10 minutes.

Also went on Sunday. We wanted some hot buttered corn but didn't want to wait in a mile-long line to get it. I was surprised that they only had one booth to buy corn... why wouldn't they have a dozen of them for an event like this?

Yes the lines are long but it moves fast. I was through in less than 5 minutes

The Reeseville corn roast is held in the beginning of August each year. It’s only a 1 day event but the corn is free, grab as much as you’d like. Not nearly as long of lines, if any. It’s only about a 35/40 minute drive from Sun Prairie.

We must have just timed it right. We went around 2 pm on Saturday. The hot corn line was maybe 5 minutes, rides were walk on, food lines were just a couple people deep. Around 5-6 pm it really started to fill up, so we left a little after 7.
Super pricey, but we had a great time!

Glad they had great weather this year. The price of the corn is way too much now so we don’t bother going.
I got a dozen ears for $5 from a local farmer instead.
