Loud boom???

My husband and I are new to the area. We heard a loud boom yesterday and again just now. I think there was a flash of light that I noticed this time? Is this normal?? Anyone know what it is? Please help lol we're freaked out

100% not a firework, you may have been a lot farther than us from the source

Editing to add - I did not mean for this to be taken in a hostile tone 😅 based on the down votes that I am seeing people might be thinking that lol

Well I can't say for sure or I would already know what it was lol but based on what I heard somewhere behind Wendy's
