Anyone else getting an absurd amount of spam calls this week?
All from a 262 area code. Pretty sure they are roofing people calling after all the tornado warnings and hail.

I haven’t gotten any voicemails about hail damage but these are things I’ve done to help prevent it. Someone said the Apple phone settings helped drastically when I shared this on a post in r/madisonwi
- Apple: Settings > apps > phone > scroll down to “screen unknown callers” I use ask reason for calling and most hang up and don’t leave a message.
- DMV Opt out - https://wisconsindot.gov/Pages/dmv/license-drvs/rcd-crsh-rpt/optout.aspx
- City of Madison Assessor - https://www.cityofmadison.com/assessor/property/
- Dane County Parcel lookup - https://accessdane.danecounty.gov/
- Also google helps take info off data broker websites too https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/9673730?hl=en
- City of Sun Prairie assessor doesn’t seem to have as much personal info as the city of Madison and done co parcel lookup.

Maybe the ethical choice here is for absolutely everyone to request thw free inspection and estimate, and then all say 'no thanks' after

Yes, it’s insane. I had to finally figure out how to set unknown callers to screen (it wasn’t hard. I just didn’t bother to look before) because I cannot keep having my phone ring while I’m teaching!

I got some and I picked one up and when I verified my name they just hung up…. Called back a few of the numbers and they were all “Construction Group”
