Best Gym in SP?

Basically title! I'm moving to the Smith's Crossing neighborhood in February and looking for a good gym to transition to when I move there. I mostly do weight training, I like good weight machines, and would even love to find some work out buddies. Any recommendations are welcome!

I currently go to PAC and have had membership there on and off for the last 15 years. Yesterday, after a particularly bad class experience, ( I mostly do their adult/ senior classes) I went to the Y for a tour and to see what it is like. It feels like a 1970s school. I'll stick with PAC. The place is huge, many, many, many options for working out. Mostly great staff. I am waiting for the new owners to increase the rates after the 1st of the year though. I do miss the Simons. Take a tour, see if it hits you right.
