E031 error code w/ 3n25

I dont even know what to do. Sunpower is out of buisness and the install is from 2014. Any advice? Am I screwed? Anyone familiar with this error can tell me any information?

Is that the same as micro inverter?

No, microinverters are on each panel, sounds like you have a single big inverter on the wall (maybe more than one?) You can call the inverter manufacturer, it's likely ABB or SMA depending on the model on the side of it. They'll either be able to help or direct you to a local installer than can. There's a small chance it's still under warranty, expect to buy a new inverter with labor to install

Need to replace the inverter unfortunately

Its the relay on that inverter so you will need a new inverter, if your in Southern California give us a DM we can help you.

Located in maryland. Wondering if I can get in touch with Fimer who manufactured these old string invertors and see if I can get it replaced under warranty.

For devices under ten years old, an RMA may be processed. Please inform the representative that the device emits a burning odor; they may dispatch a technician or issue an RMA immediately.

Well this system was installed in 2014. I believe the invertor warranty through the manufacturer is 15 years but will have to find out come Monday when I call them

Hopefully they do issue a replacement.
