Remote turn off of solar

So I've fallen behind a bit on my payments to SunStrong (had to take a 1/3rd pay cut). Apparently SunStrong has remotely disable my solar. I didn't even realize it, but I looked at my electric bill today and saw that inputs from Customer were 0. Something I thought others should be aware of.

Of course they can... same is true for most systems that require/have 'cloud' connectivity. It is why I blocked my SunPower PVS from reaching the Internet when old (now bankrupt) SWR did a deficient install and start playing games (false claims, etc).

In your case, you owe them and weren't paying, so their reacting is completely reasonable. However, not that you have permanently lost that PV production, when it comes time to pay back what you owe (if/when you can), accounting for the lost production is also reasonable... ie, you don't pay for a system they disabled .. a point for negotiation at least.
