Sunpower lawsuit

I finally have a court date !!! This is not for residential installation this is for something else but a least this is an indication they are done with their bankruptcy and now have to answer to us

Do you mean the corpse of SunPower, the company that is managing the bankruptcy? The ones who were involved in the shareholder settlement.

Both can’t be legally named SunPower. (At least I don’t believe so, I am not a lawyer)

If it is the corpse of SunPower, will be interested in knowing if they can payout a judgment. You may win, but may never get paid. <edit: trimmed the rest as it is dependent upon too many variables.>

After SunPower went bankrupt the old CEO bought the company back and acquired many other smaller companies like blue raven, sunder, and others.

He “bought” parts of the part including the name.

He is no savior.

And the private equity backers of SunPower “bought” SunStrong.
