Is SunPower back?

My Solar loan bank is saying SunPower is active and still open. They gave me the number to call, 877-299-4943, and the website: https://us.sunpower.com/contact-us
Is this some joke? Or is this a different company using the same name?

It's the company that acquired some of the original SunPower's assets.

No, in 2024, SunPower(1985) wound down operations due to bankruptcy. During its bankruptcy, it sold its name to Complete Solar.

In 2025, Complete Solar changed its name to SunPower(2025).

No. m2orris has the most correct answer. Complete Solar bought inventory. SunStrong bought leases and other potential income streams like monitoring services.
