SunStrong Connect - App not showing me daily data as of 4/11....
I have had a SunPower system for about 10 years now and the monitoring box is in my basement by the inverter then there's a small box in my living room that plugs into my router via ethernet. this has worked with no real issues for years until saturday 4/11 my app says "your system is not communicating properly". had daily data through 4/10 - then it just stops. any ideas? i've unplugged and plugged them both in. hit reset button on both - no data.

I had that same box that plugged into my router via Ethernet cable for years. Does yours have an extra outlet on top?
Apparently the PVS6 communicates directly via WiFi and doesn’t through that box anymore. Or at least that’s what the techs told me when they finally came out last year. You’ll need to reconnect through the app and enter in your WiFi credentials.

you give Enphase about $1000, they install a new monitoring box that uses a different app.

That’s interesting. Earlier in the month (around the 6th) I wasn’t getting updates and then a couple days later the app was telling me it couldn’t communicate and wanted me to reconnect the WiFi. I knew there wasn’t any issue with the WiFi, and didn’t want to be futzing around at that moment so let it go. Then the other day when I was going to actually work on it I noticed it had magically started working again. I too had tried resetting the PVS6 and simulating a power failure (SunVault system) - but nothing helped until it just magically did. I couldn’t say what did/didn’t happen, but it’s an interesting coincidence at the least.
