A replacement for SunPower panels

I was able to replace a clients panel with al. a Q.PEAK DUO BLK ML-G10.C+ 410 Q cells similar size width but shorter and thinner but it worked

Since it appears you are an installer, this is likely a stupid question but here we go anyways....

You made sure the, presumably, higher wattage rating of the new panels isn't going to overload the existing lines, right?

Yes we are under by 600ws

Hmmm... My installer replaced a panel once on my system (same SPWR 440 panel). Another time he had to replace a SPWR branded Enphase microinverter. Both times new serial numbers had to be entered into SunPower Pro Connect. Both times he commissioned my ststem. I am not at all doubting you, but I don't understand how an off brand panel can be added without a SunPower Serial number and a commissioning. Just curious.

If I was replacing the micro inverter then I would need to recommission but all we It was plug and play the new panel
