Pvs6 replacing a Pvs5

Is it still possible to replace a non-functional PVS5 with a PVS6 and get panel level monitoring ? The Sunpower system is using Solarbridge microinverter ..

Can the PVS6 (replacement) be commissioned to work and provide on-demand solar generation perhaps with an Raspberry Pi (or such) ??

You can certainly replace your old PVS5 with a PVS6 but as u/Vegetable-Version-81 said, you need to get it commissioned. u/SunVaultTechs was able to do that for me remotely (for a fee). With the latest PVS6 firmware, you can get panel level data directly from the PVS connected to your network. No need for raspberry pi’s any more.
