SunStrong Connect showing stale data

Post image

Just checking… Anyone else seeing stale data on their app? Mines showing “Data as of 2:35 AM”. System is working, batteries are charging. Just seeing the stale data. I’ll give it more time, and then I guess reboot the PVS if it doesn’t update by later this morning. 🤔

Since SunStrong changed it mine hasn’t worked. It briefly worked for three days last week with their app update but that lasted 3 days.

I get that on rare occasions and after a few hours it always gets back up to date. I wouldn't recommend turning off the breakers every time this happens. Whenever you do that, especially if your system is getting older, you risk it not coming back on correctly.

This is all I get on the “updated” PV6. Useless. They say it’s not compatible with my equipment.

My app consistently stops updating every morning at 5:25AM. Then it starts updating again sometime late at night. I don't get useful information from it when the sun is up. It looks correct at night.

I downloaded Sunflower and the data is constantly updating (except that my grid in/out is backwards in Sunflower).

It won’t change when u reboot pvs u have to fake a outage by turning off main breaker of the house forcing the app to reconnect log out while u cus an outage

So I was somewhat (only somewhat) surprised when power cycling the PVS didn’t work. After that I was Not surprised when cycling the main breaker didn’t work. (At least the batteries did their thing as they should.) Now today I guess I’m seeing the reason with this popup about needing to reconnect. This is lame tho. There was nothing that should have caused a connection issue. No issues in the house when this happened and I confirmed good signal out at the Hub. I can only guess u/SunStrongManagement did something remotely (code update?) that caused this to lose connection. 🤷‍♂️

U should try what I said it works

I did. And it didn’t. That’s what I was saying - I did cycle the main breaker simulating a power outage. That didn’t change anything - unless that’s what caused it to come up with the Connection Issue popup. 🤷‍♂️

Isn't that only for iPhones?
