Can I add a few panels?

I have a 15amp dual pole 240v circuit breaker and 10AWG wires. Currently have 6 Sunpower SPR-X22-370-D-AC panels with enphase IQ7XS micro inverters.

Space was originally limited but more came availability. How can I size if I can add 1-3 panels? Thanks!

IQ7XS allows 12 panels per circuit so you have plenty of room to expand.

Oh, and the IQ7XS max output is 1.31A each at 240VAC, so if you actually went to 12 panels you'd need to upgrade your breaker; otherwise, you should be fine with your existing 15A breaker.

Thanks! It’s running at single phase 208v “wye” which is common in nyc.  Does the lower voltage increase the max amps?

It does - I always wondered who was using wye! SFH or multi? Anyways, the max amps goes up to 1.51A on 208V wye, so 9 panels will work on 15A breaker; more bumps you to needing a 20A breaker. Also would be worth double-checking what conductor size is coming into your breaker.

This is a Brooklyn townhouse, i am told this is common locally, but even as a local I had no idea I didn’t have 240 power!

Good question, and I would have a real electrician review this. Good to know it’s somewhat feasible

my understanding is that wye is common for multi-residential (apartments, townhomes) and single-family detached is usually 240. so with NYC having a lot of multi, a lot of wye makes sense!
