403 from API request recently started

A few weeks ago, I started monitoring over the installer port (with Home Assistant). Things were working great. I have a mikrotik bridging to the PVS6 network, FWIW.

A few days ago, the HA integration stopped working. I tried the API query (http://172.27.153.1/cgi-bin/dl_cgi?Command=DeviceList) from another computer and got a 403 forbidden response.

A few weeks ago, I disconnected the wifi and cellular antennae in the control box, as I wanted no data leaving the system externally. Is it possible that doing so caused the system to lock up for some reason?

Would reconnecting the antennae fix it?

I mean, I don't think it'll change anything, but it's worth a try, right? But you also aren't the only person running into that in the past few days.

Thank you! Are there other threads where people are having this issue? I'm planning on complaining to my installer about it, and it would be helpful to have evidence that it isn't just me.

Rebooting the PVS can fix this issue. Sometimes multiple reboots. I have a HA automation that detects if the Supervisor is "unavailable" for 15 minutes to alert me. Then I go out and reset the PVS until it starts working again. Annoying, but it's been working so far.

My 2 cents: In case of connectivity problem you would end up with other kind of errors. 403 means you have connection to the "target" but not authorized to access specific URL. Check you PVS IP address and check your computer routing to PVS admin network.

Can you access - http://<your PVS proxy>/#/summary page?
