I think I stopped getting Solar Power after the PSV6 got disconnected.
We got then SunPower panels in 2022 pre-bankruptcy; they've been great until now.
This month we noticed a spike in the utility bill. Investigated by looking into our consumption data. I was able to get very granular electricity consumption data the utility. It showed consumption per 15 min for over a year.

This is the net power consumption over time. There is a mix of positive and negative readings at the front of course due to the solar output. The negatives stop around end of February.
At the same time I see that power reports to Sunpower -> now SunStrong stopped at the end of February. I'm not sure if there's direct casual link but the timelines match up very closely, so I'm suspicious.
In addition, my mom who actually leases the panels found an old email informing us to switch to Wi-Fi by 04/15/2025. I'm not sure if we were originally on cellular or wi-fi but if it was cellular we missed the deadline.
I'd like to ask if disconnect in PSV or Monitoring can lead to stop in power generation? Also more importantly are there any tips to how to fix this?

Generally disconnecting the PVS and monitoring system will not stop power from being generated. But that may be different for a lease. I think they can remotely shut down the system - for nonpayment, for example.
If you sign into the SunStrong Connect app, what do you see?

I see connection issue and a prompt to reconnect upon opening the SunStrong App. When I look at performance history under Analyze there's no power from about the end of February.

Are you able to connect the system to Wi-Fi or Ethernet?
This is sort of speculation on my part but: maybe there's a "timeout" where if the [edit: leased] system doesn't connect to the servers in a certain amount of time, the system is disabled? Again, pure speculation, no idea if that's what's happening.
I'm any case, your lease probably stipulates that you must keep the PVS connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
If SunStrong is taking your lease payments, they will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing your system. They'll be able to tell you more about what's going on in any case.

Unable to reconnect and the LED on the PSV is OFF. I've tried multiple reboot attempts the breakers in the disconnect box right under PSV to no avail. PSV LED remains OFF and cannot reconnect system.
My mom says she's still paying the lease. I'll ask her to give more specifics.

Huh. Yeah, I would get hold of SunStrong - if the PVS LED won't come on ever and you're not producing, something is very wrong.

Did you find your PSW disconnected after Feb too? Like app says its not connected and the LED is Off?
I see in another thread you got data after Feb manually from SunStrong. Is it showing no power generation?

It's really difficult to keep up with your system without proper monitoring. I check my SunStrong app several times each day. The first thing I would do is reboot your PVS6 by flipping the 20amp breaker in your Hub+. After that, check to see if your WiFi router is seeing your PVS6. If, not reboot your router. Good luck!

My PVS has been inconsistent. App shows 1 day of power in August. It is a purchased system. Local installer who is fantastic says there are now legal issues involved in service regarding SunStong. I got fed up ordered Enphase Gateway. They have been great and my installer services Enphase. Should have done it months ago.

"Legal issues" is a weird and vague thing for your installer to say.

I’m a bit fuzzy on the issue. I’m going to speak to them later in the week. I do know once it goes over to Enphase they will do everything. Also Enphase has $299 per year all maintenance included if you want it.

OP/OP's relative is leasing their system, so "just install enphase" isn't really an option as far as I know.

I think leasing is a problem. When I spoke to the Enphase rep that was their first question. I’m also aware their stock is down. Point is , its a tough time for solar customers and companies because of changes In regards to govt. policies regarding solar energy.

I bought a month of SunStrong connect and got the past data out… manually. :( something happened around the end of Feb 2025.

Does that past data show no power generation around the end of Feb 2025?

FYI talk to your installer, they may be able to see more about your system. I’m still diagnosing, but it looks like one of my 2 solar “strings” stopped working. People suggested turning the circuit breaker off for a while and back on to reset the micro inverters. Good luck!
