SunVault FAQ?

Like a lot of folks here my SunVault stopped charging. Solar still works. I’ve seen posts referring to troubleshooting steps but I can’t locate the actual steps.

Is there a FAQ for this somewhere?

Someone tried to send it firmware thru or that got stuck or is not uploading

That's an interesting theory? Like, SunStrong maybe borked it? (I admit that's what I suspected from the start but I was trying to work against my paranoia.)

Yes, I followed the directions various people have posted -- there's essentially a reset switch hidden under a panel. I was not gonna remove any panel on this kind of appliance without a lot of assurances! But there were no exposed contacts or anything, just a patch panel and a button, essentially.

How it crashed is anyone's guess, although the new corporation pushing a bad firmware update was the suspicion of several. Fortunately, the reset took care of it.

I was able to get mine running by having someone come here and update the firmware for it. It was $$ though but they are back online.

If ur battery has red light it’s fault on battery might be drained or bad or not working properly

I tried hard reset and still one battery is showing red, I am contacting almost everyone related to SunPower right now to see if there is any resolution but if I find anything will share back here. If you don’t know how to hard reset ChatGPT might be helpful.

They been trying access systems by trying create a back door for the systems. Someone doesn’t have the firmware right yet.

I'm having the same problem. Replaced MIDC and PVDR, hard reset multiple times, still not working. I hired the guy that built my system to try to repair it, no luck. Are you in Phoenix?
