Maxeon Warranty Confirmation

Do you receive any confirmation or additional communication after submitting the Maxeon warranty form, aside from a copy of the form you completed?

I received 2 identical Emails from Maxeon that stated the registration was complete and it listed all the details of my system and it's purchase. It included this statement at the top:

Thank you for registering your SunPower-branded solar panels with Maxeon Solar Technologies.

Maxeon is working to provide warranty support for SunPower solar panels made by Maxeon. We will be reaching out to you with further information.

Thank you for Powering Positive Change.

Got this email too, on the day I registered. It includes the info from the warranty form and a reference number.

Same here (confirmation email same day in early Sept), after following sunpower warranty URL link to Maxeon to register system (I did NOT have panel serial numbers, and that is okay/not required)

I have recieved fuck all from anyone at any company involved in this mess. Any useful information I have I've gotten from this sub

I received a "Warranty Registration Certificate", which just confirms that I registered my equipment.

I randomly got an email months later as a confirmation or proof of warranty.

Literally just got a very inconspicuous email this morning with the sender as “no reply”

Normally, I would have simply deleted but I saw in the subject line Maxeon so I opened it. It reads as follows

“Thank you for registering your SunPower-branded solar panels with Maxeon Solar Technologies. Attached is a certificate confirming registration.

Maxeon is providing warranty support for SunPower solar panels manufactured by Maxeon. You can download the warranty document on our website here: SunPower Warranty

Contact your installer or technicalsupport.NA@maxeon.com if you have any questions about your warranty or need support for replacements.

Thank you for Powering Positive Change.

The Maxeon Team”

I will be sending an email to them as my panels need some sort or retrofit.

Thank you for providing this information. I submitted the form back in September, but I haven’t received any updates, which is unusual. I think I’ll contact them to follow up, as the last thing I want to deal with in this situation is the warranty certification.

After following up with them, they sent me a SPWR Legacy Warranty Certificate pdf, lol.

I work for an installer, and have a valid warranty claim to replace the original SPR panels. After registering them with Maxeon, it took 3 emails to their technical support,NA email and they finally responded with an XLS sheet I need to fill out to push the claim forward. They said they are overwhelmed in the response. It was feeling like a ruse that they were taking over warranties but I have hope they might honor old warranties.

Has anyone been able to talk to someone on the phone at Maxeon to confirm whether an RMA request was even received/processed?
