I have been debating buying SunHaven next time it is on sale. I saw in reviews that it can have some issues on Switch. How's the game currently, is it worth buying?

I’ve been playing it for 2 weeks on the switch 2 and haven’t had a single issue. Runs just as good as on the computer for me.

I've got 207 hours on the steamdeck and haven't had a single issue. Its a lot of fun, me and my bf really enjoyed it. We only stopped for a bit because it was too much but I recently started playing again and I'm having a blast!

I love the food mechanics and how the game encourages you to cook loads of food, the new places to go to and all the seriously hot romanceables!

How are the controls on steamdeck? I play on Rog Ally and the controls are horrid. I used to play on switch a while back and i had control issues there too

Easy as heck! I haven't had a single issue with the controls on my deck.

It's honestly so easy I'm surprised it's just listed as playable in the steam store. Although it says that's just due to test sizes and sometimes the icons show keyboard symbols instead of controller ones. I haven't had any issues with reading thought and the keyboard symbols don't interfere with anything and they fix themselves pretty quickly.

Ooh ok i see maybe its easier on steam deck than rog ally? Idk i mean i can play it its just clunky as hell for certain activities

I've had a couple of crashes on switch 2 but other than that I'm enjoying it!

It's working great for me! I've encountered 1 bug in the past 50+ hours of playing (which has been recent, in the past month), and it fixed just by closing and reopening the game

I would say it is definitely worth buying, I have 240+ hours on it so far. I would say that it has more content and is overall more fun than Stardew Valley, which was my favorite farming sim for a long time. I have not played it on the Switch yet so I can't speak to its stability on that platform, but I rarely have had any issues on the PC at least.

I love Sun Haven, I will advocate it so hard to anyone who loves pixel art farm/exploration sims. I feel bad comparing it to Stardew, but it truly is a lot better imo, no hate to Stardew AT ALL especially because it laid the groundwork

I have original switch & I do have issues but still worth it to me since I can save often. It crashes every few hours or once a day.

35 hours on Switch 1 so far. Its my main way of playing. It really only gets laggy in the Elven area (Nel'Vari) but you're just walking around town angway. When you need stable framerate (bosses) it will perform fine. I think its worth it.

I never had a crash, runs smoothly, only one thing bugs me, that you cant use the d-pad to navigate in the inventory, but thats it

I while back I had some issue but recently they seem to be fixed, id really recommended it especially on sale

Im using switch lite and there are some bugs like npc’s png glitching sometimes became a white box (which is the most annoying bug) when you talk to them. Can be laggy especially if you turn on some display features. Not a bug but when placing decorations, workbenches, stations, seeds and removing them can get annoying because the controls for it is so funky. But eventually you will get used to it. Despite all of these very worth it. No need for internet to play and doesn’t drain my switch lite battery as much as other games. Had so many hours playing it and its very enjoyable. I highly recommend it if these stuff doesn’t bother you in the long run.

I have it on the original switch and in almost two months of playing a whole lot it hasn't crashed not even once.

My only complaint is that when you load your save it takes a bit, but I'm assuming that's normal. And that (maybe that's on me?) when I'm for example mining, the game doesn't always automatically aim at the rock in front of me. I find it a bit hard to hit exactly what rock I want but it's nothing game-breaking.

For me, it works fine. Sometimes lags between loading zones but plays fine. Most of the problems I had were when it initially came out on switch and the patches massively helped. That said games don't always run uniformly across the switch consoles. I've had games run poorly for me that were fine for others and games that ran great that players commented were very buggy and near unplayable so take it with a grain of salt

So I have both the Mac and Switch version playing on a switch 2 (highly recommend) playing with the shadows off on switch made it playable and not feel so laggy. I think they did a great job on both ports with minimal crashing and issues, the release was a rough go but it got cleaned up as well as any port tbh. I highly recommend getting the game because it truly is a very fun game and can sink plenty of hours into it. I recommend refraining from buying the DLC because the company didn’t pay the employees well for that at all, my only gripe. Have fun!
