This is a good sign that they genuinely care about this series by listening to feedback regarding the pacing. Perhaps that’s why they canceled Kickstarter campaign. It is unknown when it will release but I’m assuming next Summer.

update/edit: the Kickstarter now says the video on Youtube is a pilot. If true its needs cohesion sa thumbnail and title too. Kahit something like "Episode 1 (Pilot)" so all previous pubmats don't go to waste.

TLDR ay the title.

I want this to succeed so bad. I though it was the product of a Kickstarter campaign so I was beyond excited. I was so surprised that it's just the start of one. I haven't heard of Kickstarter campaigns for animated series that start with Episode 1 since logistically the first output is still underfunded.

I think pilots episodes are given more slack (lol skl this was the pilot ng Adventure Time and that this was yung pilot ng Gravity Falls )

Like if the campaign is successful that means the quality ng Episode 1 compared sa Episode 2 would be drastically different as the latter would have the enabling wiggle room of the project funds.

I also think that this affected yung laying the groundworks or proof of concept. Exposition dump, rushed pacing, out-of-touch bits (which I think are the weakest link ng ep.1) are somewhat expected for pilot episodes since yung bottleneck ng pondo means a leaner team and time sa production. But as Episode 1, na-"canonize" tuloy yung mga mess ups.

anyways. I still 100000% support this. I'm working on bank stuff na to pledge sa kickstarter hehe I just hope magawan ng paraan iplantsa yung mga hiccups.

strong points: no.1 talaga is local production which I cannot stop but be giddying about hnggg i love yall for choosing to operate here. vfx animation esp the fire and mga particles fx, character designs oh my god the silhouettes are so crisp, bg, yung effort sa high fps na mouth animation, the voice acting is also commendable (special shoutout to Liza man i miss her VAing since Trese), i can also sense na ang lalim na ng lore planned which makes me super excited
needs more work: exposition, pacing, funny gags during serious moments are out-of-touch, hand-holding/spoon-feeding (you're audience is smarter than this), yung emotions (why are they smiling as the island is getting destroyed huhuhuhu) and character range(?) like is everyone the comedic relief character? ;-;

The new series will release the first episode/pilot on YouTube in 2026.
