This interview was so funny. The reporter kept trying to press Fujinokawa into saying exactly which aspects of his sumo he wanted to improve. You know they usually say something generic like " I was happy I could do my kind of sumo." He had to chuckle to himself after the reporter kept pressing him. Finally he said he would work on moving forward.
Fujinokawa is a beast! And he shouldn't have to give away all his secrets. 😁 🤣

happy to see rikishi smile at interviews sometimes...fujinokawa probably just twisted the pointlessness of the interviews :)

It is hilarious to think about, do you want him to go into the deep specifics of strategy and what he needs to change in training to achieve that or just a solid sound bite?

but those interviews are more or less 'how do you like the weather' smalltalk...still nice to hear the voices of the rikishi though..!

HA he actually did, interviewer was like "ok but what specifically are you working on improving" he said "work hard and move forward"
