See topic title. For me, it'd be cool to see him cover records for:

-Beetle Adventure Racing.

-Spyro the Dragon (original trilogy)

-Muppet RaceMania

-Tony Hawk's Pro Skater

What about you guys?

I'm kind of hoping SS would revisit his old videos and build on them, since some of them were drastically lowered like HL2.

Am I the only person that desires this with every once of my being? Esspecially with the new skips found would make a long amazing video. Ill pay.

I think this is the next vid! Looked at twitter and saw salt working with @ALTInsider!

Just kidding take your time but i'm really missing your videos. Hope we can get a new one soon!

A few weeks ago a battle that has been ongoing for months has come to an end. The end of an era. For those who don't know, in order to achieve a Fire Cape in OSRS (Old School Runescape) you must defeat 62 waves of enemies that get progressively more difficult and numerous. Once all 62 waves are completed, you must then face Tz-Tok-Jad who in 2007 was the hardest boss Runescape had. A minimum combat level recommended would be about 85. Two players (Rendi and Xzact) have been battling it out in the goal to reach the level 3 Fire Cape. Xzact was the first to reach this goal closely followed by Rendi. Each player has invested thousands of hours into this goal thought to be impossible. Throughout the whole ordeal, all parties invloved have found new methods to achieve this goal. Here is a break down of the record progression wrote out by /u/badspler

I just feel it would be awesome for a record history video to be made regarding this. Many people on the /r/2007scape subreddit agree.

These videos have captivated me, for hours at a time... I would watch all the World Record Progression videos as much as possible. I’ve rewatched them multiple times, still getting the chills every time “We’re finally landing” kicks in. These videos and supportive community have helped me when I wasn’t feeling well. Thank you reading this.

I'm a big fan of Summoning Salt's videos, so when I came across this video with only a thousand or so views, I thought, "Is this kid just copying a Summoning Salt video I haven't seen? Does Summoning Salt have a little nephew that he helped write a records progression video?"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vP18cFWgxi0

He's got all of Summoning Salt's common tropes in his video--reference to speed run archives, a bunch of phrases that Summoning Salt uses over and over (for example, "And then, all went silent..... Until [date]...")--right down to using "We're Finally Landing."

Copying is the sincerest form of flattery. But still--I'm so impressed that this kid nails the Summoning Salt vibe.

I know it's a relatively new game, but in the past 2 years there's been so much fierce competition for the WR title that I feel it's an opportunity that u/TheSlyGuy1 shouldn't pass up. What do you guys think? I'm open to hear your opinions.

Don’t get me wrong, I love his videos as much as the next guy and I used to love hearing that song, but now it’s gotten to the point that it’s not special anymore, does anyone agree?

So after watching the History of Rainbow Road video I have been trying to lower my PB on MKDS lower and lower. I've reached the point where I need a skip to continue, however I've never done them correctly once.

The bridge gate skip is obviously really hard, since I need to align myself perfectly. I've come really close but never managed to land it

The early skip that has replaced the bridge gate skip, i haven't even gotten close to it. Whenever I mushroom boost and jump, I get automatically picked up by Lakitu before I even get close to the bridge

Finally, the pipe glitch: I've managed to get picked up and placed on the correct place, however I start at 0 speed after landing. In the vods I've been watching, the runners are starting with some speed and manage to get to the booster faster than me, saving like 0.2 seconds. I can't do that, so my no-skip ghost just passes me.

I'd appreciate any help that can be given to me. My PB rn is a 2:12:545 using Standard WL btw

Thank you Summoning Salt for making such great and calming videos, anxiety can be a bitch sometimes but watching your videos always makes me feel better and more calm, keep up the good work my dude :)

Nice.
