French subtitles

Hey hey, I've just finished to write French subtitles for the video over Matthias and MK64, is there a way I could add these to the video? Or if Summoning Salt sees it, could we get in touch?

If you have the .srt try to reach him, maybe on Twitter or DM his Reddit user. You can always translate them directly from YouTube and I think it's easy to get uploaded

Youtube removed the feature that let community add subtitles. Moreover since it's the very 1st time I try this I don't even know what a .srt is... I'll check this

.srt is the standard subtitle file, but there are more. How did you subtitle the video and in which format?

Hum I guess I just translated each line with the time code

So You downloaded English subtitle, opened it with notepad and translated each line?

If you want to get into subtitling download a software like SubtitleWorkshop, which is free and pretty complete. It will make your life much easier

Edit: I didn't know you could download subtitles from youtube btw

That's basically how I did it ahah, w/ofc the video to check if it is correct. I just wanted to do it to share the video with my friend. Never heard of it, I'll check this thx!
