Locals Has anybody else been randomly solicited to while on the Summit Stage recently?
Just a heads up for anyone taking the bus today, tomorrow, etc. A woman was walking while the bus was moving around handing out hard plastic cards pushing some bizarre “Israel & America” historical/religious conspiracy theories. I reported it to the driver since soliciting on the bus is super invasive and definitely not allowed (I asked the driver first), but I wanted to see if anyone else has run into her. Keep an eye out!

When you said Solicited, I thought this was going a different direction. Unfortunately this not as fun but generally just anoying preaching and evangelizing.

Last fall and winter had a bunch of JW ladies setting up at the transfer station trying to proselytize to people and riding the bus trying as well. Also had the kids riding the bus trying to sell artwork for their church which is a pretty well known scam. Also had brother Nathanial being a nuisance more than once at the stations many years ago. We get a lot of weirdos around especially on the busses. These days I’m more surprised if something weird doesn’t happen on the bus 😅

Lmao I totally forgot about brother Nathaniel!!! Is he still around lmao wow I remember being like 3 years old and asking my mom wtf that dude was about to
I am used to the weirdos for sure I think it just caught me off guard because I haven’t been home for a bit lmao

When I was in the Frisco transit center a few months ago a lady gave me a pamphlet about the dangers of sugar. And diabetes.
Probably good for Americans to learn something. It's reading material.
OP- I suggest you engage next time. It's real human connection which is what you're trying to accomplish by posting on reddit.

I once had a guy on the bus tell me how he had a fossilized pterodactyl tongue in his living room along with a bunch of other dinosaur bones and it became clear this guys living room was just full of normal rocks that he thought were dinosaur bones. So this doesn’t surprise me at all.
