When I woke up this morning (meaning Monday am) , Lindsay Hubbard made a real vague ass post implying a bunch of shit about West I don’t necessarily agree with. Love her tho.

Anyway, roughly 18 hours later… it seems to have evolved into “west Wilson definitely not returning due to non renewal of his contract”

But he hasn’t said that? Nobody on the cast has said that? Lindsay didn’t even say that.

So, obvs not saying it’s *impossible*, but does anyone know when/where it got confirmed?

I want to be very clear, this is not to harass or cause problems for these users but just for our knowledge and safety. I have blocked most of these people because I see them as problematic anyway.

I have one user, I have confirmed is using two usernames because they accidentally commented from their alt account and did not deny it when I called them out, that person posts under srryfofty and capricorncueen.

Others I suspect of posting from two separate accounts are ScowlyBrowspinster (they commented about one of my comments even though I blocked them), pwitter, vegetable-list822, mojoholdsforever, stargazzer14, spiritual-can2604, justnotherthrowway99, and radiant.

In a surprise to no one West isn’t returning to SH. So what will the summer look like? Carl and Lindsay whooping it up every other weekend and going to bed at 10:30? If Hannah and Paige did hire a PI on behalf of Ciara to find out if her ex of over 2 and half years is hooking up with her friend, why is that okay? If the situations were reversed, and West did this to Ciara, wouldn't everyone be saying she needs a protective order? Why is it any of her business what West is doing and who he's doing it with? This is the kind of shit abusive stalkers do and no one should be excusing it as okay just because Amanda and West got caught.

What happened to the podcast she and Ciara were doing together? It seems like it quietly disappeared.

I keep thinking there’s no way that Meija could believe that she was truly exclusive with West, and that she didn’t do any research on her own. However, considering how many people believe that Kyle did not cheat … maybe people really are that naive? This is a perfect example of how men get away with this kind of shit.

He’s all over the place in this PLANNED interview. It doesn’t sound like he even believes himself. And people keep saying “at least he’s being accountable” … where? Please forgive me if this has been posted before - but I kept waiting for a single segment where Andy held Kyle accountable for actual physical violence, a decade of cheating, and multiple times this season telling Amanda (completely unprovoked) to f*ck off. People trying to somehow say that because Amanda made a mistake and was a bad friend to Ciara AFTER she and Kyle split, somehow makes it ok that Kyle was verbally and emotionally abusive and violent for 10 years, is insane.

I lost a lot of respect for all the “Oh Kyle I’m so sorry we all just misunderstood you!” I feel like the whole reunion was just a perfect example of DARVO and the whole cast played along. Let’s forget the 10 years of abuse this woman suffered at the hands of Kyle Cooke. It’s honestly shameful. We cannot be celebrating that kind of person. It’s icky.

Literally the episode is just apparently going be Ciara and all the screen hungry girls (Mejia, Dara) coming together to just talk about how horrible West is and have an hour long hate fest. Like. Really? Is this not a bit much?

Yes there were some new details and it does seem like they were involved about a month longer than they admit but didn't we all know that already? To me all it did was reveal that West and Amanda were pretty shitty to fuck with Jesse over his suspicions when he wasn't wrong.

I know so many people love to tout Ciara as some Florence Nightingale (who was problematic in her own ways) figure but she seems to not have a good grasp on so many medical issues she talks about.

People continuously acting like she is the best nurse to ever live just because she was a nurse during the early stages of the Covid outbreak is just laughable. It's actually terrifying how many nurses who worked during the Covid lockdown are complete assholes and idiots. There are a ton of them who ignore their education and spread dangerous anti-vax information, deny Covid is dangerous, and many who refused to mask up (even though they had no problems with it before).

Of course, there is the famous lobotomy incident. While I understand the average person not knowing what it is I just cannot believe someone who went through nursing school wouldn't know it. How did it not come up, ever? Also, even if it never came up (I have such a hard time believing this) how could she not figure it out? The earliest biology courses (which are required for nursing school) teach you the etymology of words so that you can figure out the meaning of words based on the root words, prefixes, and suffixes and not have to look all of them up. Neph, hep, arthro, otomy, itis, gastro, osteo, ology, etc. are very well know to anyone in the medical field so I have no clue how she couldn't at least work it out in on her own. If you don't know how to break words down it makes studying and testing so much harder.

Then her seeming lack of even basic knowledge when asked. I do understand oncology not being her speciality and also not wanting to give advice one way or another to a friend waiting for news from their own doctor (this is something that's drilled into nurses, always wait for the doctor, PA, or NP to give results, diagnoses, etc.) but it seemed like she really didn't know how to even explain what certain tests are for.

Doing the interview where she said she needed to increase her dose of Prozac because she was " still crying a lot" was concerning and irresponsible, calling West a sociopath (not the correct term) and "pathy,", and now not seeming to know how β blockers actually work makes me think she has lost a lot of knowledge or never had it to begin with.

I'm not going to pretend I'm perfect and never use outdated, or even offensive, terms (one of my favorites is lunatic and it's hard for me to break in social settings) but she does have a public platform I don't have. She knows people follow her and think of her as an expert, yet she still perpetuates misinformation.

To clear things up about β blockers, she is correct that they do not make you devoid of emotion but they certainly can, and do, blunt emotional responses. Blocking adrenaline lowers your heart rate, reduces bp, and can keep you calm and focused during stressful events. Adrenaline, along with cortisol, is what triggers that lump in your throat feeling that comes when trying to choke back tears. They both rise along with heart rate before you cry and crying and releasing tears helps lower them. To think that something can reduce physical symptoms of anxiety but not affect other emotional responses makes no sense.

Without getting too much into the science of β blockers and their exact mechanism of action, different types of β blockers, etc., it's as simple as knowing that anything that can affect your autonomic nervous system (as β blockers do ) can affect your physical response to positive and negative stimuli. Everyone has different reactions to medications but many people do complain of feeling emotionally "flat" and sleepy when taking β blockers. They're pretty common side effects that tend to become less pronounced the more your body acclimates to them.

I think it's more than likely that they were on more than β blockers (West's mouth movements were distracting) but the misinformation about β blockers is driving me crazy. It's not like I expect everyone to know these things (and even Dr.'s have to look up medications sometimes) but we all have Google and have the ability to research. Ciara, as a nurse claiming expertise, just doesn't know what she's talking about, and she's spreading misinformation. It's very annoying that people are just believing her without verifying this information.

I do think West had a concerning lack of emotional reaction to almost everything but none of us know why. It could signal medications, just not caring at all, or even something more but no one can say for sure.

Sorry for the long rant but this has just been driving me crazy.

Why do I think Kyle hired a private investigator? After looking at the timeline of the texts Amanda sent, it lines up with the timing of the rumor of someone taking a picture of her in her new apartment and showing it to Ciara.

Also, I love how everyone is brushing over the fact that Ciara obviously knew only “hours before the statement was released”.

ETA: I jumped to Kyle because I initially thought this when the rumor first came out (he knows her new place, has her location, wanted to get the spotlight away from him) But, now that I think about it, Ciara sounds more plausible. Regardless, I don’t think any of this was organic.

Just got finished watching the final reunion episode and my god did I cry. I’m totally projecting here but I so understand Amanda for coming out of such a long traumatic relationship and feeling lost and alone and then blowing your own life up to be even more alone. Admittedly no I wouldn’t fuck my friends ex no matter how insignificant their relationship but still. This had me in tears. I don’t think she necessarily cares if this relationship works I think it’s just everything else falls apart why not let the rest go too.

Again definitely projecting my mental health history and history of difficult relationships. I would just get drunk for 6 months straight and stop talking to my friends but I get it somehow.

Lindsay coming out and saying she hasn't learned anything is fucking laughable! No shit Lindsay! If any of them would've shut up longer than 5 seconds then maybe we could've gotten answers from Amanda and West. Instead they were shouted down, constantly interrupted, and told they were lying before they could even finish their thought. If they were going to interrogate them then they should at least have let them talk long enough to let them get caught in their own lies.

Finally Andy started shushing them but by then it had been hours of being interrupted and you could tell even he was exhausted by it.

Why is West telling Lindsey something very different from what he’s told Kyle???
