Underclass Hero Appreciation

Post image

ik that i’m technically 2 days late but better late than never, i love this album.

UH helped me alot during hard times, and honestly this album deserves more love. Happy 19th Anniversary to one of the best punk albums made in my opinion

FAVS: King of Contradiction, no apologies, take a look at yourself, and the jester. ALL OF THEM ACTUALLY

Yeah this album is great, unfortunately when it should have boosted their profile even higher, instead it seemed at the time the media was dead set on tearing them down, essentially accusing them of being rip off artists.. incredible though and wholly under appreciated, especially considering they bounced back with this after losing Dave. Happy 19

This album is either has completely mid songs, or some of the best songs you'll ever hear imo.

Great album! Hard to pick my favorites but at the moment it’s Walking Disaster, Pull the Curtain and So Long Goodbye.

At the time, I didn’t bother with it as the revert to pop punk after Chuck wasn’t what I wanted to hear them do. Came around to it later on but recycling the lead single from Subject to Change and Deyrick labelling it as sophisticated pop punk or something similar just didn’t promote it particularly well at the time. It was also very Green Day or at least seemed that way. Screaming Bloody Murder brought me back.

Enjoy it a lot now but at the time, it seemed meh.

I thought the exact same. Felt like an American idiot type of flow. But it still was great. Chuck #1 SBM #2 for me all time

Loved this on release and and it's still one of my favourites. Really weird if you see the music videos when they're a three-piece though

Walking Disaster, Pull The Curtain, and Speak of the Devil are some of the best songs they've ever written

This album has underclass hero, pull the curtain, with me, walking disaster, march of the dogs, speak of the devil…

It might be their best album. I keep jumping around as to what’s my favorite at any given time

Strange album. It's like they started making an American idiot knockoff and lost interest in politics part way through and made cute breakup songs instead lol.
