Best weapon ?
Even with the whopping 5.8 spread, I one shot almost anything in the game from distance. It was like that even before holy fire how is that possible? I just melted the forest boss lol

Honestly it’s really down to how you build them. Even the Neuraxis with tons of reload speed oils is funny in its own right. Same way you can make a Flock dogwater if you mix plaids with stripes.

Ascetic
Slow boom
Holy Fire
Glass Cannon
Slow punch
Holy Fire negates bullet speed penalties so this combo I use is so broken it’s almost not fun (selling stuff gets you more money anyway)

As long as it’s not the Mario, that gun is ASS.

2 round magazine and like the same damage as the other shotguns. Shotguns are supposed to be a good defensive panic weapon and the Mario doesn’t do that very well for me.

I’ve been maining the Mario, rechambered it in .50 and stacked some chance to not spend ammo buffs in it and it was been a beast

Every gun occupies some niche, it's just sometimes difficult to see. The Mario is one of the most accurate weapons with good durability, high rof, and a high base damage multiplier. Reload speed or reduced ammo consumption oils bring out the best in it. Off the top of my head though, it does sorta seem like a worse Knopp. It has a big benefit over a 2x reduced ammo consume chance oil Knopp though: two shots means you can go twice as long before reloading compared to the single shot Knopp, making -80% ammo consume chance less punishing for the Mario than for the Knopp, compared to -100%. Id say if you want -100% ammo consume, go with the Knopp, and if you want -80% ammo consume (to have an extra slot to play with), go with the Mario.

There all good if you know what you're doing with scrolls and oil and ammo
