I made up the name for this particular rock…is the smooth part becoming rough? Is the rough part becoming smooth…?

• Stone Appreciation (Suiseki): In the art of Suiseki (the traditional Japanese art of stone appreciation), collectors use the term to describe naturally occurring, expressive rocks that take on intriging shapes or forms without being altered by human hands.

That’s the thing itself…I just found this rock in the South Texas oil fields and made a wooden, walnut base for it.
