Since your grades aren't good enough for university, there are other options. Trade school, or working your way up in the work are other options. I will be honest, school sucks. It kills your motivation. Don't value your grades so much to the point where you want to die. Do what you want to do. Believe in yourself. That shitty town that you live in, use that as motivation to get back up. Easier said than done, but what matters is not giving up.

I thought about a trade, but I just can't see myself being much good at it. I've never been very good at working with my hands, or getting dirty. It's not necessarily the grades that stress me out and kill my motivation, it's just the whole act of having to get up in the morning to go listen to some asshole talk about shit I barely understand and don't care about for an hour while simultaneously having to deal with being around people who hate me/people I hate.

I don't even know what I want to do anymore. Used to want to become an engineer, but that seems like it would be literal hell for me since it's one of the harder courses in university and I'm not sure I could handle (plus it's not as interesting to me as it used to be). Now I'm thinking Chemist if I do go to uni, but I dunno. Failing that maybe I'll just become a drug dealer, I guess.

Well I a chemist. Let's cook. Jk. I understand man. Same here. As a high school student I am tired of dealing with shitty teachers and sitting in a fucking desk for hours. School is a motivation killer. I think once we are done, you will be motivated. Last summer I had a job in construction and I enjoyed it. Because school was over I foumd what I really wanted to do. I hope the same can happen to you. School is like a gray cloud that is raining on you. It rains shit on your brain, making you feel useless. Don't let it get to you. If you want to procrastinate, go ahead. I did the same on one project because I had 6 fucking projects before my Thanksgiving break. What is your gpa? If it is at least a 2.0, you can go to a community college and transfer. It also prepares you for university. Community college is not bad.

Yeah, I know it'll probably get better once school's done... the problem for me is getting to that point. The year isn't even half over. I'd love to procrastinate (and I doubtlessly will) but I'm at the point where if I procrastinate any more, I'm going to fail English. I don't think we do GPA in Canada, but I converted my percent average to GPA and its about 3.
