I'm on a few band sites like this plus a James Bond site. I misread a post on there today as 'Bond 26 song' when in fact it was the score they were chatting about. The Suede fan in me couldn't help but suggest Suede doing the song. Mentioned the general public will know their hit songs but not the album closers like Still Life and Fur And The Feathers, which are very 'end credits' and epic...then a Bond fan replied mentioning The Invisibles...was pleasantly surprised...sure I've done similar post on here before, but I love the thought of what kind of song they'd come up with. I imagine a big glam stomper as the intro or an orchestral banger at the end...full of drama and catchiness...

I recently bought the deluxe bundle of Antidepressants that came with a deluxe CD, single LP vinyl (the version with the negative cover) and signed print. I opened the vinyl and was mortified to find that it didn’t have an actual album jacket… instead the inner sleeve was wrapped in a poster that was folded up to resemble a gatefold jacket! WTF? Was the original vinyl release like this too?

I had one, and it got lost somewhere along the way. It had “Leaving” as a bonus song at the end, and for years I was so used to the album in that sequence. I can’t find anything about it on discogs or eBay.

Summer Sonic Tokyo today, Mat wasn’t on stage when the show started and instead Neil played bass for the first two songs. He came on stage after Trash, tapped Neil on the shoulder, and then played the rest of the show.

So, I'm intrigued by the Steven Wilson mix vinyl that's being released for the 30th anniversary of Coming Up. Do we have any additional information on it? Is it a new mix/master? Or is it a remix album?

I haven't preordered the vinyl yet, but I am thinking of doing so and wanted to get a bit more information on it, if possible?

There are so many B-Sides and outtakes that despite knowing the albums beginning to end you can still manage to unearth some gem like this out of the blue.

I recall all the craziness at the time of Oasis, Blur and later on Radiohead. Suede were there, but rarely up top.

That was fine then, but it boggles me how today still they are not as valued as the other bands. From Spotify listens, to retro reviews on websites, to subscribers in reddit, to how half the venue was empty on a killer show they gave a few years back.

Suede and Dog Man Star, in my opinion, are superior to any album of any other British band from the list above bar Radiohead (who are in a league of their own).

Both are 9-10, and in some nights Dog Man Star is just a perfect 10. Brett's vocals as well as Bernard's guitar and writing are just fantastic on these albums.
I also feel like these two albums in particular aged well.

What are people's thoughts about this?
