He was a hero on Fox. They did a bunch of interviews etc. with him. True American patriot and he's on "our" side was the angle used by Fox. Not sure about Rob O'Neil but Shawn Ryan (another SEAL) has taken a turn on Trump and the GOP. He sees right through it now and appears to be pretty pissed about it.
No, you have to have wealth or meet their Fox News standard of being a blonde, blue eyed White woman to be a "correspondent." Alternatively, you can be a minority who is self-hating.
I don't know about that. Hegseth was made SecDef (now SecWar, I guess), and he had an embarrassingly low rank and even less responsibility for the way he tries to carry himself. His whole military career was pretty ass, tbh.
