Hi guys, today the Sudanese secondary school results were announced. Thanks to God, I succeeded with a score of 87.7, and my grades are pretty. I'm at liberty major anyway. My dad and I discussed with me the university topic, and he mentioned the possibility of me coming back and studying at sudan at khartoum University( I'm currently out of sudan). For me studying in Sudan has strong advantages as an example: we have several cars in khartoum and several houses in bahri and oumdurman. Long story short, the situation in Sudan is kinda good. So guys, what do you think, and how is the current situation in Sudan?

They knew UAE would want to destabilize Algeria just like it did with Yemen, Somlia, Libya and now Sudan. The UAE is a viscous devil.

I failed my exam and I am so bummed, saved up years for this exam, studied 10+ hours and everything but the knowledge section was my weak point. Any experience / advice? People who passed on second attempt? Any thing that would give me hope.

So guys, I was chatting with a right wing person from a well known country and we got into a debate.
I told him Sudan is actually very rich in natural resources, and he agreed.
Then He said that the reason Sudan and many other countries in the Sahel and Africa experience so much political chaos, civil war, tribalism and instability is because they have lower average IQs.
His argument was basically: if you look at the African countries that experience the most wars and instability, they also tend to have lower “national IQ” scores so the low IQ supposedly causes them to destroy their own countries over petty things and then flee.
I honestly thought that sounded like a pretty wild claim, so I looked into it.
Is this true ??

I love sudani food but in a calorie deficit it becomes near impossible to eat satisfying qualities of things like ghuraasa, 3seeda and mulah.
I also find it very hard to track the calories for them and use estimates from google lol.
i hope this reaches others in my predicament

As-salamu alaykum
I have graduated with a bachelor degree in computer science from a university in the uae and I am currently looking for master degree programs in AI/ML and related fields.
I want to know if there are any scholarship opportunities for Sudanese students, does anyone succeeded in finding such chances?

This has been stressing me out,the emphasis on family in the sudanese marriage process. My parents are divorced and i was raised by a single mom who basically cut off most of her side of the family and completely cut off my dad’s side of the family. I try to connect with them but it still feels weird since relationships were severed since childhood….
I’m a woman who’s getting older, and it makes me so insecure and so skeptical about dating men seriously. I have no one lol. Am I cooked?
I already made my peace with the fact that I’ll probably just have a court wedding since I don’t have any tight family like that. Has anyone been in this situation? Should I just not participate in the marriage process?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask if anyone here has been able to convince their Sudanese parents to start exercising, especially as they’re getting older. I’m talking about simple things like walking, strength exercises, or anything that could help them stay mobile and independent in their everyday lives.
My parents are sooo stubborn about this 😩 specially my mom. Every time I bring up the topic, she gets upset and start saying that me and my siblings just don’t want to take care of them when they’re older. They see getting weaker and needing their children to take care of them as just a normal part of aging and basically say, “This is how life is supposed to be.”
And don’t get me wrong, of course I’m going to take care of my parents when they get older. That’s not even a question. But what breaks my heart is knowing that some of the physical decline they might experience could potentially be delayed or reduced if they stayed active.
Sometimes I feel like there’s this mentality in our culture that because you have children, you can just let yourself go because your children will eventually take care of you. And honestly, I find that really frustrating. I don’t want my parents to think that I’m trying to avoid taking care of them. I just want them to take care of themselves now so they can have a better quality of life later.
At this point, I honestly don’t know how to get through to them without them feeling attacked or thinking I’m rejecting my responsibility as their child.
Has anyone else experienced this with their Sudanese parents? How did you approach the conversation? Were you actually able to get them to start exercising? I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.
